Access To The River Valley Trails System:

Departing and returning from Rundle Park (only), you have access to the paved, multi-use trails located in Rundle Park, and on the south side of the river in the following parks and areas:

Hermitage Park, Gold Bar Park, Capilano Park, Riverside Golf Course, Forest Hills Park, Henrietta Louise Park System (which includes George Hustler Park and Cloverdale Park), Queen Elizabeth Park and Kinsmen Park. Once past Kinsmen Park, users can take the Dudley L.Menzies bridge (LRT Bridge) across the river to reach the paved, multi-use trails through Victoria Park and McKinnon Ravine.

Available to seniors (65+) and the disabled, the Trail Accessibility Cart provides access to the River Valley Trails System.  Pack up a picnic, some family or friends, and take off for a peaceful and leisurely ride on the paved trails.  This is the finest and most relaxing way to enjoy Edmonton’s amazing ‘escape from the city’, without ever leaving. 

 

The cart seats four passengers, complete with seat belts.  There is a rack on the back to hold a wheelchair.

 

Cart rental is available only at Rundle Park.  Reservations recommended.  Proof of disability and/or age may be required
